Chinese Chang’an Yuexiang V5 a Mazda 3 from the front and a Toyota Corolla from the rear
Chinese car manufacturer Chang’an has unveiled their new Yuexiang V5 at this year’s Beijing Motor Show. The new Yuexiang V5 is a compact sedan, which borrowed the front end of a Mazda 3 and the rear of a Toyota Corolla. Interestingly enough Mazda has partnered up with Chang’an in China for a joint venture, however I’m sure this isn’t exactly what they had in mind…
The V5 is based on the standard Yuexiang, however it’s a more luxurious addition to the Yuexiang line-up. Power comes from a 1.5 with 114hp with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. The Yuexiang V5 will be available in the Chinese car market in the 2nd half of this year and price is expected to start around 65.000 yuan ($10,250 USD).
